After a string of four wins, Hilliard's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 54-41 to the Bolles Bulldogs. The contest marked the Red Flashes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Hilliard's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cj Hall, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of King McMillan, who posted ten points.

Bolles' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from CJ Ennis, who earned eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Ennis a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Reed Worley, who made all 5 shots he took to post 10 points and eight boards.

Hilliard's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-5. As for Bolles, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

Hilliard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bolles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 37-32 defeat against Bishop Kenny on the 31st.
