Basketball Recap: Aundray Fowler Key Part of a Team Effort in Rams Win

Amsterdam won the last time they faced South Glens Falls and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Amsterdam Rams walked away with a 64-51 win over the South Glens Falls Bulldogs. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 304th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Amsterdam to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aundray Fowler, who went 6 for 15 en route to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. That's the most assists Fowler has posted since back in January of 2024. Rocco Natale was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points.

Amsterdam is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for South Glens Falls, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

Amsterdam will take on Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Queensbury is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season. As for South Glens Falls, they will face off against Scotia-Glenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
