Soccer Game Preview: Mediapolis vs. Wapello

Mediapolis has gone a perfect 10-0 against Wapello recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home pitch against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Mediapolis' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Thursday, Mediapolis didn't have quite enough to beat Tipton and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Wapello didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar Valley Christian on Tuesday and fell 2-1. Wapello haven't had much luck with Cedar Valley Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Mediapolis now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Wapello, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mediapolis took their win against Wapello when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
