Oak Ridge came tearing into Tuesday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Leopold Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Give the Blue Jays' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's seventh straight shutout.

Kinsley Bogenpohl made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaelyn Deckerd, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Tristen Berry, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.

Oak Ridge pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Leopold, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9.
