Football Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Skates Past University with Ease

There's no place like home for Capistrano Valley Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the University Trojans 35-7 on Saturday. With the Eagles ahead 28-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Luke Vincent was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 235 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Capistrano Valley Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Capistrano Valley Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rocco Windham and Luke Langdale.
