Soccer Game Preview: Gulf Coast vs. Aubrey Rogers

The Gulf Coast Sharks will head out to square off against the Aubrey Rogers Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gulf Coast's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Gulf Coast is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They and Lely finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw on Tuesday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Gulf Coast's first draw of the season.

Andres Hernandez and Jacob Herrmann scored all three of Gulf Coast's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Aubrey Rogers was not quite Naples' equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. Aubrey Rogers have struggled against Naples recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Aubrey Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. Gulf Coast's draw gives them a new season record of 2-1-1.
