Basketball Game Preview: Monrovia Wildcats vs. Ganesha Giants

The Monrovia Wildcats just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Ganesha Giants at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Monrovia is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They blew past St. Monica Academy 87-47. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 13, 2024 (when they won 88-16).

Ganesha kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 66-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Santa Ana Valley.

Everything came up roses for Monrovia against Ganesha in their previous meeting back in December of 2017, as the squad secured an 80-33 win. In that contest, the Wildcats amassed a halftime lead of 42-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
