Soccer Recap: Northwest Christian School Drops Highest Score of Season Against Riverside

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest Christian School). They put the hurt on the Riverside Rams with a sharp 11-1 win on Tuesday. Lincoln Crockett was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Northwest Christian School used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Riverside. Three players hit the pitch for the first time this season: Weston Wibel, Moses Greenup, and Nathaniel Hart. The new lineup might be seeing more playing time going forward considering the group combined for a total of one goal and three assist.

The victory (which was Northwest Christian School's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those three contests. As for Riverside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Christian School will square off against Medical Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside, they will challenge Colville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverside are facing Colville at the right time seeing as Colville are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
