Oldham County waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Perry County Central Commodores by a score of 11-7. Jozie Lashley made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Sydney Wirth was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kayla Cartledge, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

The Colonels (ranked tenth) will meet Holy Cross (ranked 50th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Perry County Central will square off against Pikeville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (34 vs. 164).
