Volleyball Recap: Thomas MacLaren School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Atlas Preparatory School on Wednesday, Thomas MacLaren School came back down to earth. The Highlanders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hinkley Thunder on Saturday.

Chase Vadala paced Thomas MacLaren School's offense, picking up six kills. Vadala also shared the team's lead in assists with Benny Ambuul: they picked up five each. Finally, Michael Zimmer kept Thomas MacLaren School's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Thomas MacLaren School's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Hinkley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Thomas MacLaren School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Rangeview on the 19th. As for Hinkley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Ponderosa on the 19th.
