Softball Recap: Wyoming Wolves vs. Northview Wildcats
Wyoming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Northview Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Monday.
Danika Rawls was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Nerissa Cruz, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Wyoming's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Northview, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Coming up, Wyoming will take on Comstock Park at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Northview, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Forest Hills Eastern at 4:00 p.m. The Hawks will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
