Basketball Recap: Sehome Takes a Loss

Sehome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Vernon Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Mariners have lost by exactly 13 points.

Sehome's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mount Vernon, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sehome will challenge Sedro-Woolley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Sedro-Woolley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Sehome likes a good challenge. As for Mount Vernon, they will square off against Burlington-Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
