With a playoff win on the line, Harvester Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Central Christian Crusaders. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory back in September.

Olivia Screws paced Harvester Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Screws got some help from Courtney Quach and her 16 assists. Screws was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Harvester Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Central Christian, they moved to 10-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Harvester Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Lafayette Christian on the 2nd. Hopefully Central Christian paid attention to the Hawks' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Hawks on Tuesday.
