Basketball Game Preview: Ottawa Hills Green Bears vs. Tinora Rams

The Ottawa Hills Green Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Tinora Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ottawa Hills is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Ottawa Hills can't be too worried about heading out to take on Tinora: they just beat Montpelier at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Ottawa Hills came out on top against Montpelier by a score of 48-40 on Saturday. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Green Bears were the better team in the second half.

Ottawa Hills found their leader in freshman Kendell Skiver, who went 12-for-22 to rack up 30 points and five rebounds. Skiver's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Lily Berenzweig was another key player, putting up eight points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Tinora escaped with a win on Saturday against Liberty Center by the margin of a single free throw, 44-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Ottawa Hills' record is now 14-9. As for Tinora, their record is now 13-9.
