Baseball Recap: Port Aransas Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Port Aransas won the last time they faced Yorktown and things went their way on Friday too. The Marlins put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 13-3 win. The Marlins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Port Aransas' victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Yorktown, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

As of now, neither Port Aransas nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
