Santa Clara is a perfect 10-0 against Lynbrook since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bruins will host the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Wednesday, Santa Clara made easy work of MacDonald and carried off a 19-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Jasmine (Jazzy) Ramirez, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Guzman, who went 1-for-4 with four runs.
Santa Clara was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lynbrook). Everything went their way against Monta Vista on Wednesday as they made off with a 30-17 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Lynbrook got a massive performance out of Maansi Kaligotla, who got on base in five of her seven plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Audrey Lee was another key player, getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Lynbrook picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-11. As for Santa Clara, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Santa Clara has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lynbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Santa Clara's way against Lynbrook when the teams last played back in March, as Santa Clara made off with a 23-0 win. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
