Basketball Game Preview: Malvern Prep Friars vs. Haverford School Fords

The Malvern Prep Friars will challenge the Haverford School Fords at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Malvern Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.

Last Friday, Malvern Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Germantown Academy, taking the game 67-58. Given the Friars' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Patriots are ranked 245th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Haverford School escaped with a win on Saturday against Peddie by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46.

Haverford School's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Malvern Prep, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
