Blaine Davey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Carter Malveaux was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 13 rebounds.
Sam Houston is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Acadiana, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.
Sam Houston will look to defend their home court on Friday against Comeaux at 7:00 p.m. As for Acadiana, they will head out on the road to take on Southside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
