Baseball Recap: Solon Comes Up Short

Solon lost against Twinsburg on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Comets came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-2. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Solon's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Twinsburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solon will square off against Elyria at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Twinsburg, they will face off against Hoover at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.9, the Vikings 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
