ALA - Gilbert North faced ALA - Queen Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. ALA - Gilbert North put the hurt on ALA - Queen Creek with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: ALA - Queen Creek scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-22.

Easton Oborn paced ALA - Gilbert North's offense, picking up nine kills. Oborn got some help from Ethan Smith and his 24 assists. Jackson Andersen and Dallin Seegmiller kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

ALA - Gilbert North's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, ALA - Gilbert North will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastmark at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Marcos de Niza on the 26th.
