Baseball Recap: Enterprise Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Enterprise can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lake Hornets by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Chance Glass made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Enterprise's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Lake, their record now sits at 15-10.

Enterprise does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake, they will take on the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: Enterprise has averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
