Basketball Recap: Bolton Skates Past Trezevant with Ease

Bolton entered their tilt with Trezevant on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Trezevant Bears 84-56. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Bolton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rahsad MacLin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave MacLin a new career-high in steals (five). Kylan Collins was another key player, going 7 for 12 en route to 15 points in addition to eight steals and five assists.

Bolton pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.4 points per game. As for Trezevant, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Bolton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Memphis Home Education Association at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trezevant, they will square off against KIPP Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trezevant is facing KIPP Collegiate at the right time seeing as KIPP Collegiate is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
