Borah lost to Centennial back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lions came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

While Borah might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Centennial scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 23-25, 25-21, 25-22.

Gena Fink paced Borah's offense, picking up 17 kills. Fink got some help from Emma McKinney and her 38 assists. Finally, Norah Jorgensen kept Borah's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Centennial lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Isabelle Guinn, who had 13 digs and five assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Guinn, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Borah's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Centennial, they dropped their record down to 8-21 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Borah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Boise on the 18th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Mountain View on the 18th.
