Football Game Preview: Warren County Screaming Devils vs. Lincoln County Red Devils + Official Tickets

Warren County is 1-7 against Lincoln County since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Screaming Devils will face off against the Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Warren County comes in on four and Lincoln County on eight.

Last Friday, Warren County beat Lake Oconee Academy 16-7.

Meanwhile, Lincoln County humbled Lake Oconee Academy with a 41-3 victory. Considering the Red Devils have won six contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Warren County better focus on containing Mekhi Wade and Aiden Jones as the pair were huge in Lincoln County's win. Wade rushed for 36 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Jones rushed for 74 yards and two scores. What's more, Wade posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Lincoln County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 228 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.

Lincoln County's record now sits at 8-0. As for Warren County, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Warren County was dealt a bruising 42-0 loss at the hands of Lincoln County when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Screaming Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
