Cassville has gone 8-0 against Wheaton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. Cassville will be strutting in after a win while Wheaton will be coming in after a loss.

Cassville will bounce into Monday's game after beating Blue Eye, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. Cassville strolled past Blue Eye with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 41-26. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Wheaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 42-32 to East Newton.

Cassville's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Wheaton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Cassville's way against Wheaton in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as Cassville made off with a 39-15 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cassville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
