Volleyball Recap: Mason County Central Comes Up Short

Mason County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brethren Bobcats. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Mason County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-3. As for Brethren, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14-1.

Looking ahead, Mason County Central will face off against Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brethren, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Buckley on the 11th.
