Basketball Recap: Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Comes Up Short

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer was the 40-33 winner over Diller-Odell when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans and the Diller-Odell Griffin didn't end well, with the Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans falling 46-32. The Titans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Cooper Morgan was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds for Diller-Odell. Morgan has become a key player for Diller-Odell: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least ten boards, but 6-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jack Phillips, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Diller-Odell, they now also have a winning record of 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will take on Tri County on Tuesday. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer is facing Tri County at the right time seeing as Tri County is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Diller-Odell, they will challenge Falls City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Diller-Odell will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Falls City will have lost 19 straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
