It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Guardian Angels Central Catholic had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They strolled past the Johnson-Brock Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 53-38. The win was nothing new for the Bluejays as they're now sitting on three straight.

Johnson-Brock's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklyn Behrends, who posted eight points along with nine boards and three steals. Behrends has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Chloe Vice was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic's record is now 19-5. As for Johnson-Brock, with the loss, they broke their 25-game winning streak and moved their record to 25-2.

Looking ahead, Guardian Angels Central Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Elkhorn Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
