Softball Recap: Fife Trojans vs. Orting Cardinals        
        
		
            
 Fife can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Monday. They blew past the Orting Cardinals 8-2. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Fife.
  Madi Walls made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits. Walls was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Tatum Hoerling, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.  Bailee Flaig Ratcliffe-flaig was another key contributor,  going 1-for-4 with a  triple and a  run.
 Fife is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record  this season. As for Orting, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fife will play host again  on Wednesday to welcome Foss, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:00  p.m. Foss is coming into the  matchup with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning Fife will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory. As for Orting, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
