Cobre has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hatch Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Indians will challenge the Bears at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hatch Valley will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Cobre extended their winning streak to nine on Wednesday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over Socorro.

Ezmyah Dominguez looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ayvah Ortiz, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Isis Dominguez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Cobre was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .737. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .343 or higher in nine consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Hatch Valley got the win against Hot Springs on Wednesday by a conclusive 19-1. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Cobre pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hatch Valley, their record is now 8-10.

Everything went Cobre's way against Hatch Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Cobre made off with an 18-1 victory. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
