Basketball Recap: Suwannee Bulldogs vs. North Marion Colts
With a playoff game on the line, the Suwannee Bulldogs rose to the challenge on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 48-8 victory over the Colts. The win was a breath of fresh air for Suwannee as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Suwannee can attribute much of their success to Shadavia Jones, who scored 13 points. Kiera Jelks was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Suwannee's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for North Marion, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-19.
Suwannee will square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
