Softball Game Preview: Workman Lobos vs. Edgewood Lions

Workman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Pomona on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-2 victory. The Lobos have beaten the Red Devils the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Red Devils has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Edgewood finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against Ganesha, falling 15-1. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Edgewood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Workman's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Edgewood, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1.
