Football Game Preview: Prentice Buccaneers vs. Rib Lake Redmen

The Prentice Buccaneers will take on the Rib Lake Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prentice has given up an average of 39.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Prentice came up short against Chequamegon/Butternut/Mercer two weeks ago, falling 54-30. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rib Lake). They claimed a resounding 80-14 win over Winter/Birchwood. The victory was nothing new for the Redmen as they're now sitting on three straight.

Rib Lake now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Prentice, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Things could have been worse for Prentice, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-32 loss to Rib Lake in their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
