While Desert Oasis's victory against Bonanza wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Diamondbacks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bengals 9-7. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

The team relied heavily on Nolly Newbry, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Savannah Slack, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Desert Oasis' record is now 7-1. As for Bonanza, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert Oasis is set to take on their familiar foe Cheyenne at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bonanza will face off against rival Spring Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
