Norwell is a perfect 10-0 against Bellmont since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will head out to square off against the Braves at 5:30 p.m. Norwell's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Bellmont's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Leo hit Norwell with a five-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights fell 6-2 to the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Bellmont posted their closest win since May 14, 2024 on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodlan, sneaking past 7-5. The victory continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Matt Bleeke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Layne LeMaster was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Bellmont's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-5 when he doesn't). Beau Baker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-6. As for Norwell, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Norwell beat Bellmont 7-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
