Baseball Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Brighton's offense. They fell just short of the Webster Thomas Titans by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Bruins were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Brighton and nudges their season record down to 7-4. As for Webster Thomas, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Coming up, Webster Thomas will square off against Gates Chili at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brighton will be paying especially close attention to the Titans' match: after the Titans face off against the Spartans, they'll take on Brighton again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
