Baseball Game Preview: Center Hill Mustangs vs. Grenada Chargers

For the second straight game, Center Hill will face off against Grenada. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. The last four games Center Hill has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Center Hill's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Grenada 1-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 2, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Not much got past Cooper McCool, who gave up just six hits to keep Grenada off the board. McCool also tossed no walks, which is notable because Center Hill is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-10 otherwise.

Center Hill's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Grenada, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8.
