Basketball Recap: Chicago Mathematics & Science Comes Up Short

Chicago Mathematics & Science lost against Schurz back in November of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Chicago Mathematics & Science might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 34-19 to the Schurz Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Chicago Mathematics & Science just can't catch a break and has now endured four losses in a row.

Chicago Mathematics & Science's record is now 1-7. As for Schurz, they moved to 3-10 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chicago Mathematics & Science will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mather at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Schurz, they will host Noble Street College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Noble Street College Prep's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so Schurz's offense will have their work cut out for them.
