Tampa Prep extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Shorecrest Prep. They put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Terrapins were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Chargers, so the Terrapins were just returning the favor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tampa Prep took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-14.

Lucy Zielin was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September. Shelby Steppacher also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Tampa Prep is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Shorecrest Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-8.

Looking ahead, Tampa Prep will host Northside Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Shorecrest Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
