Five must be Rowan County's lucky number: they beat Scott with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Vikings came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Abram Norden spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits.

On the hitting side, Ben Dehart was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Will Richardson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Rowan County's victory bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Scott, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.
