Soccer Game Preview: Forney vs. Rockwall

The Forney Jackrabbits will head out to face off against the Rockwall Yellowjackets at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Forney will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Friday, Forney was able to grind out a solid win over Tyler Legacy, taking the game 3-1. That's two games straight that the Jackrabbits have won by exactly two goals.

They hit Tyler Legacy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Devyn Gee, Kyleigh Johnson, and Madalynn Putnam.

Meanwhile, Rockwall came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Neither they nor Longview could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Yellowjackets' first draw of the season.

Forney's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. With that draw, Rockwall's record moves to 2-6-1.
