Baseball Recap: North Marion Takes a Loss

North Marion lost against Brooke back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Huskies fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 2-1.

North Marion's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11. Those road defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Brooke, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-13.

North Marion didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against East Fairmont on the 14th. Hopefully Brooke paid attention to the Huskies' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
