Soccer Recap: Comeaux Comes Up Short

Comeaux lost against North Vermilion back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Comeaux Spartans came up short against the North Vermilion Patriots, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Patriots are ranked 18th).

Comeaux dropped their record down to 6-6-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Vermilion, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Comeaux has already played their next matchup (against Westgate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Vermilion has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Erath.
