Baseball Recap: Windermere Prep Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Windermere Prep can now relate to. They came up short against The First Academy Royals on Tuesday, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in February.

Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for The First Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Windermere Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The First Academy, they will challenge Montverde Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
