Softball Recap: Brookside Cardinals vs. Clearview Clippers
Brookside came into Tuesday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let the Clearview Clippers get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Tuesday. The Cardinals not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 14th (when they won 20-0).
Markie-Ann Aliff made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Aliff was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since April 1st.

In other batting news, Brookside got a massive performance out of Leann Clark, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave Clark a new career-high in doubles (two). Khloe Racz was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
