Baseball Recap: Cactus' Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

While Cactus put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Westview. The Cobras walked away with a 5-0 win over the Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cobras also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2017.

Raven Anderson was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Cactus is 2-1 when Anderson posts two or more runs, but 4-14 otherwise. Degan Thomas was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Cactus' victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-15. As for Westview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Cactus will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
