Volleyball Recap: Kent Denver Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kent Denver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ralston Valley Mustangs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sun Devils of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-17.

Ralston Valley was led to victory by Bella Goodall and Taylor Harteker. Goodall had 12 digs and four assists, while Harteker had 17 assists and four digs. Goodall has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Kent Denver's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Ralston Valley, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Kent Denver will square off against Stargate School at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ralston Valley, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arvada West at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th.
