Colonial Forge had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.4 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They came out on top against the Stafford Indians by a score of 54-47. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 46-41 win back in January.

Stafford's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Ferguson, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Ferguson has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 16 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sanaa Jenkins, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Colonial Forge pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points over those games. As for Stafford, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
