Soccer Game Preview: Swanton vs. Eastwood

The Swanton Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Eastwood Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Swanton is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Swanton is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Old Fort on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Stockaders by a score of 2-1.

Eastwood, on the other hand, haven't lost since September 25th and they too continued that trend. Neither they nor Kenton could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Eastwood have been dealt a draw since back in August.

Brady Mohr and Ayden Heuerman scored all three of Eastwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Swanton's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-3. Eastwood's draw gives them a new season record of 10-5-2.
