Softball Recap: Scotland Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Scotland Christian Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots, falling 17-4. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 11-9.

Scotland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Coming up, Scotland Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Union Grove Christian at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. Wilmington Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
